Record Keeper

While record keeper can be boring and even tedious at times it does have the advantage that it could be done whenever and once you have a system in place it is not to time consuming. Also you learn all the gossip and news. A record keeper is also part of groups that otherwise one would not be included in. This is a good position for those who have little time and are not gossips.

Two types of records: private records and group records. Private records would include things like births, deaths, slaves, companionships, and the like. The record keeper of the group should be included in the group their are assign to track, all city groups for example in a small village. (Second Life only keeps for two weeks or less.)

Minute of a meeting can be given to the record keeper. Remember to include not only a transcript of the meeting, but also the list of who attended and what topics were covered at the top including any action that is to be taken and by who. Also remove any chat item not related to the meeting. Include all things which were handed out at the meeting. Remember to include the date, example year/month/date, and a clear title of the meeting. Save these somewhere that everyone has access to in case your avatar disappears; example in bookcases.
